  1. My great grandfather was keeper Alva F Stites. Do you have any information on him? Have visited the lighthouse frequently as I have a summer place in Fenwick Island. My mother, before she passed away in 2002, visited the lighthouse and met Evie who was the assistant keepers grandaughter when Alva was keeper. Thy had not seen each other since 1920. Both my mom and Evie passed away right after they were reunited.

Any info you can provide will be of great interest.

    Thank you

  2. Joan,
I’m sorry, I’m afraid at this time we do not have what you request. It has been our hope that ancestors of these gentlemen would help us with stories or photos. I thank you for asking!

  3. In the list of keepers you mention John D. Bennett and a Samuel D. Bennett. Do you have any information or pictures of these two people? John D. (I have him as Jehu D.) is the brother of my great grandfather. Thank you.
